Description
Usage
These capsules should not be taken orally. Inhale the powder in the capsules using the dedicated inhaler. Inhale this drug once daily, or as advised by your doctor. Inhale twice per pill to ensure complete absorption of the medication. At no point should you breathe into the mouthpiece. Keep this medication away from your eyes. It can cause eye pain and irritation, as well as temporary blurred vision and other vision changes.
Side Effects
- Dry mouth, constipation, and dizziness are all possible side effects. Inform your doctor or pharmacist right once if any of these effects persist or worsen.
- Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because the benefit to you outweighs the risk of adverse effects. Many persons who use this drug have no major adverse effects.
- Rarely, this medicine might cause a significant and rapid worsening of respiratory issues immediately after usage. If your breathing suddenly worsens, use your quick-relief inhaler and seek medical attention immediately.
- Inform your doctor right away if you experience any serious side effects, such as difficult/painful urinating or a rapid heartbeat.
- If you experience any of the following extremely dangerous side effects, get medical attention immediately: eye pain/swelling/redness, visual alterations.
- Consult your doctor beforehand if you are breastfeeding.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor or pharmacist about your medical history, especially if you have kidney illness, a personal or family history of glaucoma (angle-closure type), or difficulties urinating (for example, due to enlarged prostate).
- This medication may cause dizziness or blurred vision. You may become dizzy if you consume alcohol or marijuana (cannabis). Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that requires attention or clear vision until you are sure you can do it safely. Consume alcoholic beverages in moderation. If you use marijuana, consult your doctor (cannabis).
- Inform your doctor or dentist about all of the products you consume before undergoing surgery (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).
- Older persons may be more sensitive to the drug’s adverse effects, including dry mouth and constipation. Older men may also have more trouble urinating when using this medication.
- This drug should be taken only when plainly necessary during pregnancy. Consult your doctor about the dangers and advantages.
Storage
Keep the capsules away from light and moisture at room temperature. Keep the capsules in their blister packaging until you’re ready to use them. Capsules should not be stored in the inhaler device. When a capsule’s blister container is opened, it should be utilized right away. Throw away any capsule that has had its blister packing opened and is not being used straight away. Keep out of the bathroom. Keep all drugs out of the reach of children and dogs.
