Budesonide I.P. 200 mcg +Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate I.P. 6 mcg

Budesonide & Formoterol Fumarate Inhalers -A combination of two medicines called Budesonide & Formoterol Fumarate Inhalers are used to help manage asthma symptoms and increase lung function. It is prescribed when the patient’s asthma cannot be adequately controlled by other asthma medicines or when the patient’s condition is so severe that multiple medicines have to be taken daily. Taking this medicine after an asthma attack has already started will not help.

Apart from treating airflow obstruction, this medicine also reduces the progression of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Budesonide for inhalation is a member of the corticosteroids drug class. It prevents inflammation of the lungs that leads to an asthma attack.
