NOTEAS – D 250 Tablet – This medication is a combination of two drugs namely, Naproxen + Domperidone. This medication belongs to a group of medications known as analgesics. It helps in relieving migraine headaches. Aside from that, it can be used to alleviate pain in rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and dysmenorrhea. Migraine is characterized by severe headaches. Pain is a symptom that might indicate a variety of underlying illnesses.

How this medication Works

NOTEAS – D 250 Tablet combines two medications: naproxen and domperidone. Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that produce migraine-related discomfort. Domperidone is a prokinetic that targets the brain area that controls migraine-related vomiting. It also speeds up the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to pass more readily.

Precautions for taking this medication

Alcohol – Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication. It is unsafe to use alcohol with Naproxen+Domperidone.

Pregnancy – This medication is unsafe to use during pregnancy and it may cause harmful effects. Limited studies are available in humans and animals studies have shown harmful effects on the fetus. So consult with your doctor before taking this medication. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. 

Breastfeeding – This medication is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies have shown that the drug may pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving – Do not drive after taking Naproxen IP 250 mg + Domperidone 10mg Tablet. This may cause side effects and affect your ability to drive. It may cause dizziness and make you feel sleepy, and depressed. It may also affect your vision, that’s why you should not drive after taking this medication.

Kidney – If you are a kidney patient then you take this medication with some caution. So consult with your doctor before taking this medication and dosage adjustment may be needed.

Liver – If you are suffering from liver impairment then you should take this medication with some caution. So consult with your doctor before taking this medication, dosage adjustment may be needed. This medication is not prescribed in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
