LEVOICE Tablet – If you are looking for Montelukast Sodium Tablets then stop searching more. LEVOICE Tablet contains Montelukast Sodium which belongs to a class of drugs called leukotriene receptor antagonists. Leukotriene modifiers are another term for this drug that works in a similar way. Montelukast is also used to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children aged 2 and up, as well as perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children aged 6 months and up. Montelukast should only be used to treat seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children who are unable to receive other drugs.
This medication works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger this will reduce the inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.
Montelukast is prescribed to treat and prevent asthma. It will alleviate symptoms and reduce the incidence of acute asthma attacks. However, this medication should not be used to treat an ongoing asthma attack.

If you forget to take this medication or miss a dose, then take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take only one tablet do not take a double or extra dose.
Asthma Attack or Asthma Control – The efficacy of montelukast in treating acute asthma attacks has not been shown. Do not use it to treat an acute asthma attack.
Behavior Changes – Some people have experienced behavioral abnormalities after taking montelukast. There have been reports of violent or hostile attitudes, anxiety, confusion, poor memory, sleep difficulties, and suicidal thoughts and behavior.
Liver Function – Liver disease or impaired liver function may cause this medicine to accumulate in the body, resulting in negative effects. The safety of taking montelukast in persons with substantially impaired liver function has not been verified. If you have reduced liver function, consult your doctor about how this medicine may influence your medical condition.
