Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 0.5mg Nasal Spray 10 ml. Spray
This drug is used to temporarily relieve nasal congestion brought on by a variety of illnesses, such as the common cold, sinusitis, hay fever, and allergies. It reduces edoema and congestion by constricting the blood vessels around the nose.
As indicated, apply this medication to your nose. Observe all usage instructions provided on the product’s packaging or follow your doctor’s advice. Ask your physician or pharmacist if you have any queries.
Blow your nose slowly before taking this medication. On the side not getting the medication, use your finger to cover the nostril. In the open nostril, insert the spray tip while maintaining your head upright. As you inhale through your nose, spray the drug into the open nostril. To ensure that the drug enters the nose completely, give your nose a few good whiffs. If necessary, repeat similar actions for the opposite nostril.
Don’t spritz the medication onto your middle of your nose or into your eyes (nasal septum).
After each usage, rinse the spray tip under hot water or dry with a fresh tissue. Take care to prevent water from entering the container. After each usage, replace the cap.
It’s possible to experience brief stinging, burning, dryness, runny nose, and sneezing. Inform your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if any of these side effects persist or get worse.
Keep in mind that if your doctor has prescribed this medicine, it is because he or she has determined that the benefits to you outweigh the risks of side effects. Many users of this medicine report no significant negative effects.
If any of the following unlikely but dangerous side symptoms manifest: slow/fast/pounding heartbeat, fainting, nausea, headache, mental/mood problems, difficulty falling asleep, shaking (tremors), excessive perspiration, or unusual weakness, call your doctor immediately away.
Rarely will this medication cause a very serious allergic reaction. However, if you experience any symptoms of a major allergic response, such as a rash, itching or swelling (particularly of the face, tongue, or throat), severe dizziness, or difficulty breathing, you should seek emergency medical assistance.
The list of potential negative effects is not exhaustive. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any other side effects not covered above.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have any allergies prior to using this nasal decongestant, including any to sympathomimetics (such as pseudoephedrine). Inactive chemicals in this product have the potential to trigger allergic reactions or other issues. To learn more, speak with your pharmacist.
